“It’s an old cemetery,” I looked around at all the old headstones. Some of them were leaning over, ready to fall, a few were already lying on the ground, but most of them were still standing straight and tall. I shivered.
“Gross!” Matt said. “Let’s get out of here.”
“What’s it doing here?” asked Violet.
“It looks really old,” April ran her hand across one of the headstones. “Oh my gawd, I can’t believe it,” she pushed away the dead grass and weeds that was covering it.
“April, don’t touch it!” Matt said. “That’s gross.”
Joey walked toward April. “What is it?”
“It’s Patience Gray,” she looked up at him.
I looked at the headstone and then at April. “Who’s Patience Gray?”
